Multifilament PP Yarn

What is Multifilament PP Yarn?

Multifilament PP Yarn is made by extruding polypropylene polymer through spinnerets into very thin, multiple filaments/fibres, which are then spun and converge into a multifilament yarn. The thickness of each filaments determines the denier of the yarn. The colour of the yarn is changed through the use of SAPY’s colour masterbatches.

Key Applications

SAPY manufactures a variety of multifilament PP yarn products for semi-industrial applications including narrow-webbing, curtain tape, mattress tapes, upholstery, filtration fabrics, hose manufacturing, braiding and ropes. We can supply you a custom colour product, or you can make a selection based on our yarn chart.
